🌟 Foundations Early Readers Camp
For Rising Kindergarteners | June 3 – June 26, 2025
Tuesdays & Thursdays | 2 Hours Per Day | 5 Spots Only!
Give your rising kindergartener the gift of confidence and school readiness this summer! Our Foundations Early Readers Camp at Foundations Pediatric Therapy is a dynamic, hands-on learning experience designed specifically for young learners who are preparing to enter kindergarten in the fall.
Led by certified teacher Katie Gallagher, this small-group camp (maximum of 5 students) provides a nurturing and engaging environment where your child will build the early literacy and foundational academic skills they need to thrive in the classroom.
Campers will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays from 8:30–10:30 AM, beginning June 3rd and running through June 26th (a total of 4 weeks). Each session will include a mix of whole-group instruction, hands-on activities, games, and individualized support using elements of the Learning Without Tears curriculum—a research-based, multisensory program ideal for young learners.
✏️ Focus Areas Include:
Pre-Reading & Phonological Awareness
Letter recognition
Letter sounds & early phonics
Rhyming, segmenting, and blending
Handwriting & Fine Motor Skills
Correct pencil grip & posture
Uppercase letter formation
Drawing shapes and lines for pre-writing
Number Sense & Early Math Concepts
Counting, patterns, and number recognition
Sorting and simple problem-solving
Interactive, play-based math activities
Each session is structured to include movement, music, and sensory-based instruction to keep learning fun and developmentally appropriate. With just 5 children per group, we ensure every camper receives plenty of individualized attention to build confidence and reinforce core skills.
